This Privacy Policy explains how Huffy Media ("we", "us", or "our") handles information when you use PullFit, our mixed reality fitness application for Meta Quest.
PullFit is designed to collect only the information necessary to provide its fitness, progress tracking and save functionality.
1. Information PullFit Uses
PullFit may process information generated while you use the app, including:
- Profile information you choose to create within PullFit.
- Workout history, exercise progress, fitness test results, streaks, goals and other in-app progress information.
- Resistance band preferences and information associated with your workouts.
- Application settings and preferences.
2. Hand and Head Tracking
PullFit uses tracking information provided by the Meta Quest platform to understand the position and movement of your head and hands while you exercise. This allows PullFit to provide features such as exercise targets, repetition tracking and the Training Mirror.
This tracking information is used in real time to provide the application's functionality. PullFit does not use hand or head tracking information to identify you.
3. Passthrough and Your Surroundings
PullFit uses Meta Quest mixed reality and passthrough features so that you can remain aware of your physical surroundings while exercising.
PullFit does not independently record or store video or images of your physical environment. Passthrough and associated environmental processing are provided through the Meta Quest platform.
4. Saving Your Progress
PullFit stores information required to maintain your profiles, preferences, workout history and progress.
PullFit may also use platform-provided cloud save functionality so that supported save data can be backed up or restored through your Meta Quest account.
Cloud services associated with your Meta account are also subject to Meta's own privacy policies and terms.
5. How We Use Information
Information processed by PullFit is used to:
- Provide workouts and exercise functionality.
- Track your progress and workout history.
- Maintain profiles, preferences and settings.
- Provide fitness tests, goals, streaks and related features.
- Save and restore supported application data.
- Maintain and improve the operation of PullFit.
6. Analytics and Advertising
PullFit does not currently include third-party advertising.
PullFit does not currently use third-party analytics services to track your activity within the application.
If this changes in a future version of PullFit, this Privacy Policy will be updated to describe the information collected and how it is used.
7. Sharing of Information
We do not sell your personal information.
Information may be processed by platform services that are necessary for PullFit to operate, such as services provided by Meta for application distribution and supported cloud functionality.
We may also disclose information if required to do so by law or where necessary to protect our legal rights.
8. Data Retention and Deletion
Locally stored PullFit data remains on your device until it is removed through the application's available functionality, application data is cleared, or the application is uninstalled, subject to any platform backup or cloud save functionality.
You may contact us to ask questions about information associated with PullFit or to request deletion of personal information that we control.
Some information managed directly by Meta or your Meta account may need to be managed using Meta's own account and privacy controls.
9. Children's Privacy
PullFit is not designed to knowingly collect personal information from children beyond information required to provide the application's functionality.
Use of Meta Quest devices and accounts is subject to Meta's applicable age requirements, parental controls and terms.
10. Security
We take reasonable measures to limit the information processed by PullFit and to protect information within our control. However, no electronic storage or transmission system can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
11. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy as PullFit develops or if its data practices change. When we make changes, the updated policy will be published on this page and the "Last updated" date will be revised.
